My Washington DC New Years Makeover was so much fun! I went shopping for a new wardrobe, got my hair done, and learned new makeup tricks.
As a reward to myself for reaching my new year washington d.c. weight loss goal, I took myself shopping. I am always lost for what to buy because I am unsure of what will look good on me. Since I do not have to worry about that now, I bought everything that looked good to me no matter the price. I am satisfied with the skirts, boots, high heels, and tight fitting cute shirts that I splurged on finally.

I managed to get a special Washington DC New Years hair appointment at a greatly discounted price. I took a dive and got the red and bleach blonde highlights that I have always wanted. I am so glad that they look great on me. In fact, they look better than I ever could have imagined they would. It is a wonderful feeling to not regret a new hairstyle but to actually wish you had done it sooner. My new chop is very light and short which I never thought was something that I would like or that would look as spectacular on me as it actually does.
I got my makeup done at the M.A.C. counter for the first time ever! They were doing special sessions in celebration of the new year washington dc. I learned how to do my eye shadow the "right" way, I found a new foundation that won't break my skin out, and the cosmetologist matched me up with a perfect-for-me lip gloss color. To top it all off, I got half off of my entire purchase and a free gift.
Getting a makeover can be so refreshing. Shopping and getting pampered is a lot more fun when you do it all together after you get a spa manicure and pedicure. I was thrilled to learn fashion tips straight from the experts. After I applied the tips to my daily fashion style, I learned just how beautiful I really am with a little TLC every now and then. I highly recommend and strongly encourage every woman to get a make over on Washington DC New Years every year from now on!
