How to prevent the acne from developing on your face

When you exercise you will keep in shape . Keeping in shape is actually help to fight acne by combating off the negative stress level that arise from the negative self-esteem and depression. But , bear in mind that while you are busying in your workout routines, care should be taken in term of cleanliness as the acne may flares-up. You must be choosy in your clothing, sports gear and equipment.

You might think that you look great and comfortable with the tight lycra and nylon exercise outfit but if you are prone to acne problem, then stay away from it as these fabrics will have the tendency to trap the body moisture and heat which will then resulting in the bacteria development. It is better to use a loose clothing which is made of cotton which will allow more air to get into your skin.
Never delay in changing your outfit after you had finished with your workout especially when your cloth is wet from presiration or water sports. Get under the shower and change into dry and clean clothing. Your sports gear and equipment must be kept clean too and especially your forehead is prone to acne problem , dirty headgear may irritate it.
Cosmetics
Use oil-free or noncomedogenic based product as using such type of cosmetics will avoid the pore-clogging and skin irritations which are similar to acne and may contribute to acne development. A falky mineral called mica is normally available in the shimmering facial colors and this can also cause clog pores and skin irritations. Other additives that could cause similar sideeffect are coal tar , carmine and heavy cream in blushes.
Use a lip gloss instead of high gloss . Remember, the shiner the gloss, the high the comedogenic content and the more pores can clog. Eye creams can also contain heavier concntrations of moisturizers than regular cream and lotions thus there is potential that it can caused pores in the surrounding facial areas.
Proper Diet
There is no concrete evidence that diet could cause acne or can treat acne. But remember , your skin is the largest organ of your body. What you eat does make your body and your skin. Thus, by taking care of your diet you may eliminate the tendency of acne development. Take healthy vitamins , minerals and other supplements.
Maintain Hygiene
You should not scrubbing harshly or over-washing your skin especially your face as this could cause skin irritation or over producing of oil . Use product with gentle exfoliation ingredients instead of scratchy nut or fruit shell pieces that could tear your skin. Alcohol based product could also take off the top layer of your skin which can cause your glands to produce more oil. This will resulted in clogging of pores.
If there is already an acne-troubled areas, don't mess with them. As those spotted acne are already weeks in making it, by squeezing or picking blemishes it can cause the infected area to goes inside back thus leaving a scar. It is better to seek a help from a dermatologist for alternative treatments.
Shaving
Shaving is good for both genders. This is the best method of exfoliating or removing dead skin to help with the prevention and spreading of acne rather than leaving the remains to clog pores. For minor acne , shaving can assist in getting rid of white heads and blackheads from the face. But shaving is not allowed for areas with high inflammatory activities such as redness, sensitive, sore etc. But if you want to do it , use a shaving cream for sensitive skin.
